With a title inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw and the founder of the Christian Science movement, Mary Baker Eddy, Tony Kushner's iHo (his self-coined term for maximum abbreviation) harkens back to the great family dramas of American theatre past. Michael Greif directs Michael Cristofer as Gus Marcantonio, a retired longshoreman (and devoted Communist) who invites his three grown children (Stephen Spinella, Linda Emond, and Steven Pasquale) who in turn bring spouses, ex-spouses, lovers and others home for an unusual family reunion.
