New York City's Park Avenue Armory will house an immersive version of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Starring and co-directed by five-time Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh, the staging of the show in the 55,000 square foot armory will place audience members "on the frontlines of battle," according to press notes. Here, Branagh discusses the production and the significance of finally making his New York City stage debut. Tony winner Rob Ashford co-directs the production, which begins previews May 31.
