Synopsis
A man's young girlfriend demands to meet the wife who is keeping them from getting married — a wife that the man invented to keep the girlfriend from getting too close. He asks his spinsterish assistant to pretend to be the wife, which leads to complications, in Abe Burrows' comedy.
