Synopsis
Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's musical is based on the 1982 film, which fictionalizes a real-life incident in which a drunken, faded, Errol Flynn-like movie idol guest stars on a live 1950s television comedy show, à la Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows.
