Synopsis
An English earl runs for the Parliament seat that has been held by his ancestors for generations, but loses it to a commoner. The earl's American fiancée puts his butler up for a by-election when the commoner is elected to the peerage, which the butler wins, causing the earl to contest the seat for a different party and with the loving support of his maid.
