Synopsis

An evening of four one-act plays. In Emily, a divorcee connects with a moving man as they fix her kitchen. In Celia, a former Hollywood bit player has become a taken-for-granted housewife. In Dorothy, a housewife and her husband's rendezvous is interrupted by his elderly father. Ma turns out to be the previous three ladies' grouchy mother, finally willing to marry their father before she dies.
