Synopsis

Fiorello LaGuardia's life, including his years as an anti-Tammany Hall political crusader, through World War I, and onto his election as mayor of New York City, is the subject of this Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical by Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, George Abbott and Jerome Weidman.
