Synopsis
This classic Gershwin musical depicts the adventures of two bootleggers — Lady Kay and her brother, the Duke of Durham — in Prohibition-era Long Island.
Notes:
This revised revival of the classic Gershwin musical is re-set in Jazz Age Harlem and features an all-black cast. Prohibition-era nightclub hijinks and bootlegging bring together a millionaire and a mysterious woman named Kay.
