Synopsis

During the Serbio-Bulgarian War of 1885, a Bulgarian woman who is engaged to a hero of the war encounters a Serbian captain who is retreating from the war because he despises it. He teaches her to see beyond the romantic ideals of war, in George Bernard Shaw's 1894 play.
