Synopsis
The trials and tribulations of the White House's occupants from George Washington to Theodore Roosevelt, and those of their wives and servants, are musicalized by Leonard Bernstein and Alan Jay Lerner. The Presidents and First Ladies are all played by one man and one woman, and the servants are played by the same couple, Lud and Seena, through the years.
