Synopsis
During the Serbio-Bulgarian War of 1885, a Bulgarian woman who is engaged to a war hero encounters a Serbian captain who is retreating from the war because he despises it. He teaches her to see beyond the romantic ideals of war in this operetta, adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Arms and the Man.
