Synopsis
An evening of two one-act plays, Sean O'Casey's A Pound on Demand and George Bernard Shaw's Androcles and the Lion.
A Pound on Demand is a comedy in which a drunk and his sober sidekick must settle the matter of his account in a Dublin post office.
In Androcles and the Lion, a Christian slave in ancient Rome is thrown to the lions but saved by the lion's mercy.
