2011 Tony Awards Preview: Best Featured Actress in Musical

Two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone seeks her third statue for her role as the spirited Lucia in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Fellow Women... alum Laura Benanti has her own dreams of adding another Tony to her mantel in this same category.

First time nominee Nikki M. James represents the outrageous The Book of Mormon with her performance as Nabalungi, an African girl whose life turns upside down when incompetent missionaries invade her village.

Previous nominee Tammy Blanchard tries to grab her first Tony for her portrayal of airhead sexpot Hedy LaRue in the 50th Anniversary revival of How to Succeed in Business with Really Trying.

Rounding out the nominations is Victoria Clark — seeking a second Tony win — for her role as a skeptical but ultimately inspiring Mother Superior in Sister Act.
