Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's 1971 musical about a host of former Weismann Follies stars who reunite for one last look across the footlights is back on Broadway. In a crumbling theatre, the spotlight exposes old wounds of former Follies stars (Bernadette Peters as Sally and Jan Maxwell as Phyllis) and their husbands (Ron Raines as Ben and Danny Burstein as Buddy), who find that the past is still alive in the shadows. Eric Schaeffer directs and Warren Carlyle choreographs at the Marquis Theatre. To see Part 2, click here.
