PLAYBILL EXCLUSIVE: Disney's Newsies Warm Up for Hot Choreography

Newsies cast members Ryan Steele, Ephraim Sykes, Garett Hawe and Thayne Jasperson invited Playbill to the Nederlander Theatre for an exclusive peek at their special pre-show warm-up routine, which happens throughout the theatre when the stage isn't available due to tech prep. Designed to stretch and protect their bodies before they jump into Christopher Gattelli's intense tap-meets-ballet choreography — featuring plenty of turns, leaps and tumbling — the warm-up includes elements of yoga, classical barre and gym routine.
